THE ENO FREEWHEEL

The ENO freewheel has long been the gold standard in durable single speed freewheels. We’ve been running them on our singlespeeds for the best part of 15 years and can honestly say they just plain work. They’re designed to be used and abused and are fully rebuildable. The standard version has 36 points of engagement which we find great but if you want that buzz buzz and quicker engagement the 72 point HIGH Engagement version has you covered.

COG MATERIAL:

• Heat treated and plated 8620 steel

COG WIDTH:

• All single freewheel sizes can use both 3/32” and 1/8” chains

  except 16T

• The 16T freewheels do not have enough room below

  the teeth to allow a 1/8” chain to fully engage the teeth

  which will result in premature wear. The bearing and driver size

  do not allow us to make the base any smaller.

• Double/DOS freewheels only accept 3/32” chains due to the spacing

  between the gears (not enough room for wider 1/8” chains)

FREEWHEEL TYPES:

• Standard (the original single freewheel, 36 point engagement)

• HIGH Engagement (72 point high engagement freewheel)

• DOS (double geared freewheel, 36 point engagement or 72 point options)

FREEWHEEL SIZE:

• 16t: accommodates 3/32” chain only,

• 17t- 23t: designed for 3/32” and 1/8” chains,

• 16/18t, 17/19t, 20/22t DOS: , accommodates 3/32” chain only

ALL FREEWHEELS HAVE A THREAD OF:

• (1.37x24 tpi)
